2013
Liberty Mutual seeks to transform the employee digital experience. With no viable solution on the market, they leverage the latest technologies and practices to design and build an internal digital assistant for all employees.
2014
Conducting an iterative agile workflow, the team releases betas, gathers feedback and conducts user research to fine-tune and prepare to launch the digital assistant enterprise-wide.
2015
Liberty Mutual's digital assistant is released to all 50,000+ employees. Sentiment analysis research surfaced the number one word employees used to describe the digital assistant: "love" (as in 'I love this!'), not a word you often hear used to describe enterprise software.
2016
Liberty Mutual discovers a mutual interest from other companies in their digital assistant, prompting them to bring their digital assistant solution to the open market, believing their enterprise-grade software, built by an enterprise, would effectively solve the needs of companies with similar challenges.
2017
Liberty Mutual launches Workgrid Software - a wholly owned company that brings mid- and large-sized companies employee-centric software solutions. The digital assistant solution is Workgrid's first product to market - the Workgrid Assistant.
2019
To further simplify the digital work experience. Workgrid adds a chatbot to the digital assistant. This easy-to-use, natural language interface enables employees to get instant, round-the-clock answers to their top questions and facilitates self-service functionality, such as IT ticketing.
2021
Recognizing that the Workgrid digital assistant is best used on conjunction with other digital workplace technologies, Workgrid launches a reseller program. With Trianz & Igloo as the first partners, this collaboration creates seamless, personalized digital experiences for employees.
2022
Focused by years of industry experience, Workgrid establishes a leadership role in the niche guided attention technology. The first of its kind, guided attention technology frees workers from the everyday chaos that destroys focus, wastes time, and hinders productivity.
2023
Workgrid introduces a conversational AI experience with the AI Work Assistant, ushering in a new realm of digital workplace technology. Powered by advanced natural language processing, the new Workgrid Assistant enables employees to perform tasks and search for information in a streamlined conversational interface.
2024
The Browser Extension client joins Workgrid's available channels, bringing the AI Assistant's content and capabilities to employees across the internet. Workgrid's multi-channel accessibility provides flexible access to information and tasks from across the digital workplace, all through the Assistant's conversational interface.
